- There
is no driving/written test required if you have previously been licensed.
- There
are no current restrictions on length/width on RV's & trailers.
- Registration
fees (tags, title, plates) on vehicles/trailers varies according
to size/weight, etc.
- There
is no emission inspection in the County you will register in.
- You
do not necessarily need to come to a local office to register your
vehicle.
- Insurance
laws vary from state to state - but our members often find they receive
more coverage for less money using our address.
- Unlike
Texas and other states, Florida does not require you to return each
year to re-tag your vehicle. This can all be handled through the
mail.
Voter
Registration
- Unlike
Oregon, there are no minimum number of days required "in residence" in
order to be a resident, and therefore a registered voter in Florida.
- You
may apply by mail, just call us for an application.
- Voters
registered using our street address are placed in the "Main
Office Precinct. You must request this placement.
- You
may request to vote "Absentee" and your ballot will be
mailed to your Florida address, we would then remail it to you. You
must request this each time you desire to vote "Absentee",
it is not automatic.

- Florida
is the #1 Tax Haven in America according to " The Retirement
Letter".
- You
may wish to tag your vehicles, acquire a driver's license and open
a bank account. Basically all the things you would normally do upon "setting
up residence" in any state. You may use our address as a "Home
Base".
- The
current state sales tax is 6%. (We will notify you if any other taxes
apply).
- There
is no state income tax (see reverse for info on intangible tax).
- There
is no tangible personal property tax or ad valorem tax on personal
property.
- Florida
is not a community property state.
